Eric Schatzel joined Federation of Organizations in 2005 as an Activities Assistant for the Day Social Program in Patchogue. Upon the opening of PROS Patchogue in 2007, Eric transferred over as the Rehabilitative Therapist, a position he held for five years. In 2012, Eric was promoted to the Unit Supervisor of the brand new Transitional Community Residence in West Brentwood. After the successful completion of the TCR project Eric was promoted to Program Manager of the Irving Berkowitz Residence, Sunken Meadow Residence, 6th St Residence and both Residential Transitional Support Teams in 2015. As the Residential Transitional Support Teams further developed, Eric transitioned to the Program Manager role of all RTS and MRS teams in 2016 in order to meet the increased demand for those services in Suffolk and Nassau counties. In 2017, Eric assumed the role of Associate Director of Supportive Scattered Site Housing, a role in which he oversees over 700 beds (and counting) of supportive scattered site housing on Long Island and in New York City. Eric received his Master’s Degree from Adelphi University.
