REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Finance

DEPARTMENT: Accounting

CLASSIFICATION: Non Exempt

HOURS: 35 hours per week

JOB FUNCTION

Responsible for the purchasing functions for Federation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Review all purchase orders submitted throughout the agency to assess the necessity, priority and ensure accuracy of purchase.

B. Ensure competitive pricing with our current vendors by acquiring bids periodically for all perpetual services/equipment. Reconcile Invoices to purchase orders.

C. Act as a liaison for Federation with vendors.

D. Manage the purchasing function for new projects as needed.

E. Maintain procedure manual

F. Comply with agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud. Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state and local regulations applicable to this job description.

G. Utilize all agency based IT applications pertaining to this job description in a proficient manner.

H. Remain current on changing developments in individual field of expertise.

I. Perform all other duties as assigned.
